I set out to change my life.For over a decade, I was a line cook, grinding through long shifts, working in hot kitchens, and living off whatever scraps I could grab between orders. It was all I knew. It was familiar, comfortable—even if it wasn’t healthy. But comfort is a slow poison.I was stuck. Overweight, exhausted, living paycheck to paycheck with no clear path forward. I had dreams—breaking into tech, building a business, running an Ironman—but they always seemed out of reach. Something other people did.
